The Wandering Foodie's Ultimate Meal
Hagan Blount, is a “Culinary Adventurer” that has been blogging at WonderingFoodie.com since 2001.
He’s also a vocal proponent of the regionally sourced food movement, chairman of the IRL Arts Foundation and a supporter of Slow Food USA and The Food Bank for New York City.
Today marks the conclusion of 93 Plates, a unique initiative that he launched to raise awareness for the IRL Arts Foundation’s education and scholarship program.
Each day from Jan 1st until today, he ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at 93 separate NYC eateries.
In the middle of this amazing food journey through NYC, Hagan took a moment to share his Ultimate Meal with dishKarma:
The Wandering Foodie's Ultimate Meal:
Ajax Truffle Fries, Ajax Tavern in The Little Nell Hotel, Aspen, Colorado
Wings from The Ruck, Troy, NY
Aubergines Croquantes (Crispy Eggplant Napoléon, Tomato, Chèvre) at Petit Louis Bistro, Baltimore, MD
Pepper Crusted Tuna Pretending to be a Filet Mignon at The Inn at Little Washington, VA
Porter house at Peter Luger Steak House in NYC
Strawberry meringue frozen tart (Mom’s love when you give them credit!), any suggestions on restaurants that serve this up best?
